Aries Full Moon 2021

As if this Libra Season did not provide us with enough action, the Aries Full Moon on the 20th promises to pack a punch on the cosmic stage.  Oh yes, like a good little cardinal season often does, this one is gonna go out with a bang! It’s got all of the fire, tension, and celebration that one would expect from a full moon.

First, let’s start with the celebration.  Both Aries & Libra are all about forward motion, and if you’ve been following along, you may have noticed that many of the planets that have been retrograde (Pluto, Saturn, Jupiter, & Mercury) will have all stationed direct by the time of this lunation. The reviewing period is over.  Now it’s time to make shit happen!

The fiery Aries Full Moon is here to remind us that we must first light ourselves up before giving to others.

Now let’s talk about the fire… Over the past few weeks, relationships have been at the forefront of our minds. With the Sun, Mars, and Mercury Retrograde all in Libra, we’ve been challenged to reflect on the people in our lives and how we relate to them.  We may have formed new relationships, and we may have let some go.  Heck, we may have even let some old ones that we had written off back in!  But now as the full moon culminates in this relationship axis, we are being asked to find the proper balance between our own needs and the needs of others in our lives.  The fiery Aries Full Moon is here to remind us that we must first light ourselves up before giving to others. We must ignite our own inner flames.  If we are not burning brightly from within, how can we be expected to shine light on others?

And finally, we must mention the tension.  This unfortunate caveat cannot be overlooked…  So, while all fiery lunations have the potential to create a little tension, this full moon has the potential to deliver some tension with a capital T, as in T-square.  For those who don’t know, T-squares are formed in the sky when two celestial bodies oppose each other while simultaneously squaring another planet.  And this T-square is forming between the opposing sun & moon as they both square Pluto in Capricorn.  And when Pluto is involved, things are not going to go smoothly, as he is the planet that is known for burning shit to the ground in order to create something totally new.

So with all this being said, let’s try to create a plan of action for this full moon, shall we?

  • Look back at your new moon intentions that you set a few weeks ago in regards to your relationships. Have any positive changes taken place?  If so, celebrate them!

  • Now take another look at the equilibrium of your most important relationships.  Have you been acting too much on their behalf instead of on your own?  Release any codependent energies you may be holding onto now.

  • Forgive yourself for any blow ups that may have occurred leading up to this lunation. The energy behind this T-square is no joke, so just apologize for any overreactions and keep it moving. The release point in Cancer wants you to have compassion for yourself during this time.

So that’s it folks!  This Libra Season has been a lot, and I wish I could tell you that Scorpio Season was going to be a smoother ride, but who are we kidding?  That’s just not Scorpio’s style…
