Lunar Eclipse in Pisces: September 17, 2024

Would you rather die of cancer, or suddenly, like getting hit by a bus? It’s a morbid thought, I know, but I’ve been thinking about this idea lately, because it speaks to astrology.

I mean, think about it, why do people even get astrology readings? Why do they go to psychics? Or get tarot card readings?

It’s because they all want to know something about their futures. They are curious. They don’t want to feel blindsided by what’s coming up, they want to feel prepared. They don’t want to walk out of their house one day and get hit by a bus, never having told their families how much they love them, and never having gone on that dream vacation to Italy before they die!

This is the whole point of having a forecast reading, or following the current and upcoming astrological weather, so you can be prepared!

So, in light of this, I’m here to let you know, it’s time to get prepared! And that is because it is Eclipse Season once again, and the Lunar Eclipse in Pisces is happening on September 17, 2024.

And if you are a newbie to astrology, you may not understand just how big of a deal eclipses are. Well, I’m here to tell you, they are big. Eclipses can bring about major fated beginnings and endings in people’s lives. They are times when the universe takes over and says, “You came into this lifetime to experience certain things… this may hurt, or it might feel amazing. Either way, this is for your soul’s evolution”.

So am I telling you that EVERYONE in the entire world is about to experience some life changing events over the next few weeks? No, I’m definitely not suggesting that, because that’s not how it works. I mean, imagine if everyone’s lives all at once went through some cataclysmic event? It would be mayhem!

No, this only pertains to certain people, and that’s where knowing your own personal natal chart comes in.

This lunar eclipse is occurring at 25 degrees of Pisces. So, it will be affecting people with major placements (sun, moon, rising, etc.) around 25 degrees of Pisces, Virgo, Sagittarius & Gemini.

It will also most likely be affecting people who have 25 degrees of Pisces falling in an angular house (1, 4, 7, 10). This is because those houses affect some of the most important parts of our lives: our body, our family, our major relationships, and our career.

AND, this eclipse is also special because it is the first eclipse in a new series of eclipses on the Virgo / Pisces axis. These eclipses in Virgo / Pisces will continue until early 2027! So this is a new timeline, a new chapter, a new storyline in our lives that is just getting started, and will continue to play out over the next 2 and a half years!

So I want you to pay attention to what is happening over the next month or so. Eclipse Season technically lasts until the Aries Full Moon on October 17th. So from now until then, just observe and notice how your life is going.

How are your relationships? Are there shifts happening in your career? Is there some family drama brewing? Is your body telling you it’s time to get healthier?

Whatever you start to see unfolding in life around this time, just know that it is most likely something you will be dealing with for the next few years. It is a part of your next chapter. For some it will be subtle, you may not even notice it, and for some it will smack you in the face.

If you are the latter, just remember that old saying from the Greek philosopher Epictetus, “It’s not what happens to you, but how you react to it that matters”.

Happy Eclipse Season!

xx - Dolly
